The SharePoint Virtual Summit rolled out Microsoft’s roadmap plans for the future.
Much of yesterday’s event focussed on SharePoint Online for those organisations with Office 365 capabilities, though it was announced that the first components of the SharePoint Framework will be brought to SharePoint Server 2016 with a Feature Pack 2 later on in the year.
“This will enable developers to use an updated client-side development model to create web parts and solutions that can power new solutions on-premises, in hybrid experiences and in Office 365,” says Microsoft in its Office Blog.
