During the unprecedented changes caused by Coronavirus, the NHS needs all the help they can get.
On Tuesday 24th, the Health Secretary announced a scheme to support the NHS and to provide help for those most vulnerable during these times – those who are either over 70, have certain existing health conditions or are immunocompromised.
Andrew Chalmers our MD and cofounder has signed up to be a volunteer and will be making deliveries on his motorbike!
You can read more about the appeal here: https://www.independent.co.uk/life-style/health-and-families/coronavirus-nhs-volunteer-responder-how-to-sign-up-apply-a9423221.html or sign up to be a volunteer here: https://www.goodsamapp.org/NHS
Though these may be uncertain times, let’s band together and bring happiness and support to our communities.
A long-running client of ours, the local Queen Victoria Hospital, as part of the NHS, will be dealing with trying times and we feel this is a way of showing our gratitude and appreciation for everything they do. If you’d like to support them in any other way, they have a small fundraising project you can donate to here: https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/supportqvhheroes
