Microsoft Inspire saw the release of the newest Microsoft Cloud for Industry with the announcement of Microsoft Cloud for Sovereignty.
Microsoft Cloud for Sovereignty is a new solution to further enable public sector bodies to build and digitally transform workloads in the Microsoft Cloud (Azure, Dynamics 365 and Microsoft 365) while meeting compliance, security and policy requirements. This provides greater control over data and improved transparency to the operational and governance processes of the cloud.
You can read the Microsoft blog for deep insight into the capabilities of this new cloud.
Microsoft Cloud for Sovereignty and Strategic Partners
Each country has unique needs and constraints. The Public Sector is obliged to meet stringent national or regional requirements for data classifications. Such as data governance, data residency and security. For this reason, Microsoft Cloud for Sovereignty combines strategically with local partners to support the digital transformation of the public sector.
Working with in-country Microsoft Partners with industry and technical insight, allows public sector organisations to purposefully make the most of their cloud environments. Through support with strategy, onboarding, governance and more.
Custom software experts like Ballard Chalmers can add further value to Microsoft Cloud for Sovereignty with customised applications, customisations to the Sovereign Landing Zone and more.
In the words of Corey Sanders, Corporate Vice President: “Microsoft Cloud for Sovereignty will offer the tools, the innovation, the processes and the transparency to put the power into the hands of knowledgeable and trusted partners that will support local governments on their digital transformation journey.”
