We have a long history of successfully helping organisations with application cloud migration, usually followed by rearchitecting as part of a modernisation strategy. As a Microsoft Partner and a Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider (CSP), we can help you move your legacy on-premise systems and transition line of business applications into the cloud so you can benefit from all the cost savings available in Azure.
SOME OF OUR Application Cloud Migration ENGAGEMENTS
HOW WE CAN HELP WITH MIGRATING APPLICATIONS TO THE CLOUD
Our expertise is in the Microsoft Platform, with a focus on Azure. We support all aspects of cloud migration of custom enterprise business systems.
A key factor in our Azure migration expertise is a solid foundation in the Microsoft on-premises enterprise platform stack, specifically, .NET Core, SQL Server and BizTalk Server.
We understand each of these technologies implicitly. And this knowledge helps us to better understand how such applications will perform when deployed in a VM cloud environment, or re-engineered for Azure, using services such as Azure App Services, Functions, Azure SQL, Logic Apps, API Manager, Services Bus, Cognitive Search and Data Factory.
We understand when systems can be migrated as they are with a simple lift and shift, carried out by our parent company, Transparity. And when they need to be refactored to gain all the cost and performance benefits that the cloud offers with the migration done as part of a larger modernisation project.
Transitioning your applications to the cloud requires careful planning, strategy and execution and we are fluent in the processes required for successfully doing so.
Our consultants and developers are individually Microsoft Certified for their skill-sets, which means we are well placed to unravel any complexities along the way. We know that cloud migrations for some systems take longer than others, and plan for hybrid scenarios accordingly.
Then once you are in the cloud we can help you continue to evolve your applications and optimise assets with the latest in Azure services. We understand the potential to reduce support overheads with serverless-based applications and the capabilities of burstable VMs to ensure that you pay for the services that you use, not that sit there being under-utilised.
If your organisation is ready to gain competitive advantages such as higher efficiency, greater flexibility, lower costs and better performance for your applications and services, let’s talk.

WHAT YOU WILL GET
Public, Private or Hybrid Cloud?
Public Cloud: In the public cloud, IT services are delivered across the Internet. The service can be free, subscription-based (depending on resources consumed) or freemium. The cloud vendor is completely accountable for developing, handling and sustaining the computing resources shared between tenants across the network. The biggest advantage of a public cloud solution is its high elasticity and scalability.
Private Cloud: In the private cloud, the cloud solution is devoted to a single organization. The data centre may be located on-premise or off-site (owned externally). The resources are delivered via a secure private network and not shared with other clients. The private cloud is completely customizable and so can meet unique business and security needs. The biggest advantage of the private cloud is the security and unique enterprise capabilities.
Hybrid Cloud: In the hybrid cloud, the infrastructure is a mix of public and private cloud solutions, and applications and workloads share the resources. The resources are usually established as an integrated infrastructure environment. The details vary based on the organization’s policies on security, performance, scalability and rates. The biggest advantage of the hybrid cloud is the cost-efficiency of access to additional computing capacity on a short-term basis.
