It’s been a busy time at Ballard Chalmers HQ, where we particularly welcome our latest new clients, including Exterion Media, national law firm Shoosmiths, and market research agency Brainjuicer.
The last few months has seen a strong uplift in requirements for BizTalk Server, for which we are one of the few companies in the country capable of delivering the skills and expertise required. This has included Exterion and Shoosmiths mentioned above, as well as the likes of Goldsmiths, University of London, Circle Housing, and creative agency Imagination.
As well as our BizTalk work, SharePoint Server services have been in very strong demand as usual, and if anything demand is increasing. Ballard Chalmers has continued to strengthen our SharePoint team with well-known names in the industry including SharePoint Practice Lead Martin Hatch and Senior Consultant Mark Slavik. Highlights of our recent SharePoint work includes a major SharePoint Server / Microsoft Dynamics system integration for rapidly growing business solutions company CSI, developing a custom business process management system for professional services management to exactly meet the requirements of the business. Other engagements include organisations such as the British Dental Association, the Rail Safety and Standards Board, and many more.
SQL Server is a core expertise at Ballard Chalmers and highlights of our Consultancy services recently has included the likes of Nationwide where we have delivered very high level expert consultancy around SQL Business Intelligence and IPES, for SQL Reporting.
Last but by no means least technology-wise, Ballard Chalmers’ core strength of custom business .NET software development remains central to our activities, and we are fully engaged with the Azure platform and utilising the Microsoft Cloud for system deployments. Our ongoing system development includes custom work for OVO Energy and IPES.
And finally, Ballard Chalmers are very proud to have been selected by Transport for London as a tier 2 supplier for IT Consultant and Engineer resource as part of the recent supplier review undertaken by TFL. We have a team of highly skilled .NET and SQL engineers engaged at TFL, particularly working more recently as part of the team on the new contactless payment system which has just gone live; and that engagement is rolling out within TFL now due to our renewed supplier status.
