On this day in the year 2000 Microsoft BizTalk Server was born!
The future looks bright for BizTalk, with Microsoft stating its strong commitment to creating first-class integration solutions, working both on premises and in the cloud. Bridging the gap between these products has been vital, and with the current growth of hybrid this is becoming ever more central to strategy.
BizTalk Server 2016 was launched (GA) on December 2nd, and Microsoft is already thinking about the next major release in terms of feature improvements and new capabilities. No dates as yet have been mentioned, but as we speak Microsoft is working on setting up a platform where users will be invited to help scope out the next version by letting the Product Group know what improvements and capabilities you would like them to consider. This will be announced on the BizTalk Team Blog once it’s live.
Users are also invited to join the Yammer Integration Advisory group. If your company is new to the Azure Advisory network on Yammer you can use external this link to register your company, if your company is already registered use this link.
Happy 16th Birthday BizTalk Server!
