Auditing for Azure SQL Database Now Supports User-Assigned Managed Identity

Auditing Azure SQL Database now supports user-assigned managed identity on top of the existing authentication methods: system-assigned managed identity and storage access keys.

Do note that at present, authenticating with user-assigned managed identity for enabling auditing to storage behind VNet/Firewall is not currently supported.

When configuring auditing using managed identity, when there is no user-assigned managed identity created, the default will use system identity.
