Azure Policy support for Azure Site Recovery is now generally available. Create a Disaster Recovery policy for a subscription or resource group and all new VMs added will have Azure Site Recovery enabled automatically.
Additionally, for existing VMs in a resource group, you can implement the same standards through Policy Remediation.
This Azure Policy enables organisations to better comply with organisational standards, implement disaster recovery strategy and maintain governance.
You can find out more and follow a step-by-step guide to setting up Azure Policy for Azure Site Recovery in the Microsoft documentation: Enable Azure Site Recovery for your VMs using Azure Policy.
What is Azure Site Recovery (ASR)?
Azure Site Recovery is the strongest protection available against outages, whilst simultaneously providing cost-effectiveness and ease of deployment.
You can learn more about Azure Site Recovery and access tutorials in the Microsoft documentation: Azure Site Recovery.
