Ballard Chalmers has been named as a service supplier on Crown Commercial Service’s (CCS) Digital Outcomes and Specialists 5 Framework (DOS 5).
We are approved for Digital Outcomes which qualifies us to provide services in performance analysis and data, service delivery, software development, support and operations, testing and auditing, user experience and design, and user research.
The Digital Marketplace
The Digital Marketplace is an online service for public sector organisations run by the Crown Commercial Service (CCS). It enables these bodies to find both people and technology for digital projects.
CCS supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services. CCS commercial agreements use competition among suppliers to increase quality and value. In 2019/20 the CCS helped more than 18,000 customers achieve commercial benefits totalling over £1 billion of public money.

Ballard Chalmers and the Public Sector
Ballard Chalmers has a long history of working with the public sector, and we enjoy helping the dedicated staff to use technology to improve the country. Now more than ever, many of our public sector organisations are under strain and bringing technical automation and efficiency is another way we can contribute to #TechForGood.
Big past projects include the NHS and TFL and currently, we are working with Sedgemoor District Council building their business rates system and the continuing support of the telemedicine system used by our local Queen Victoria Hospital.
Additional projects include the BBC, Her Majesty’s Revenue & Customs, Land Registry and Prisons, The Royal Mail of Plymouth and Sheffield. And the Civil Aviation and British Airports Authority.
