Ballard Chalmers successfully renewed our Cyber Essentials Plus certificate. This certificate confirms that we met the Cyber Essentials implementation profile and that our ICT defences were assessed against commodity based cyber-attack.
In line with the UK National Cyber Security Strategy, Ballard Chalmers’ Cyber Essentials certification demonstrates our commitment to compliance with Government-backed and industry-supported cybersecurity standards. In order to achieve certification, we were required to demonstrate adherence to best practice against the five basic security controls defined by the scheme.
About Cyber Essentials
Cyber Essentials is a UK government information assurance scheme operated by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC). It encourages organisations to adopt good practice in information security. Certification gives us, and our clients, security that our defences have been externally scrutinised against the majority of common cyber-attacks and that our technical controls are well in place.
