BizTalk Server 2020 Mainstream Support Extended

Microsoft has announced that BizTalk Server 2020 Mainstream Support has been extended by three years. This pushes the end of mainstream support to April 11th 2028, though extended support remains the same, ending on April 9th 2030.

Increased mainstream support will enable BizTalk customers to obtain security updates, access incident support and request non-security updates for three further years than the normal fixed lifecycle policy.

There was no elaboration on what this means for further releases of BizTalk. This is the statement from the BizTalk team: While we encourage customers to consider cloud solutions in Azure as an alternative to Biztalk, we are still committed to supporting our existing customers.
