Social responsibility has long been part of the fabric of Ballard Chalmers and that’s why this year we are delighted to be participating in Transparity’s Boycott your Bed fundraising for Action for Children.
On Friday 7th October 2022, CTO Geoff Ballard will join the CEO of Transparity, David Jobbins and colleagues in challenging themselves to sleep out in London. Across the nation, in Leeds, Glasgow, Cardiff, and Belfast, hundreds of other sleepers will be doing it too.
Together it will raise funds so that children have the basics – like warm clothes, hot meals and a proper bed. As sadly, right now, there are 3.9 million UK children in poverty. Home isn’t the safe place it’s supposed to be and with the cost of living crisis spiralling out of control, they’re even more vulnerable.
Please help us raise vital funds to help a vulnerable child’s dreams of a safe and happy childhood come true.
