Now Generally Available – Azure App Service Support for Availability Zones.

Azure App Service Premium v2 and Premium v3 plans now support availability zones. Compute will be automatically allocated across zones to ensure apps stay in operation. This is on top of the already existing availability zone support from Azure for storage, networking and data. Together it makes possible highly available end-to-end application architectures.
