Oracle Database Service for Microsoft Azure is an Oracle-managed service that provides easy access and operation of enterprise-grade Oracle Database services for Azure customers. This means organisations can build Azure applications with Oracle Database Services.
When migrating from on-premise you can move your business applications into Azure while migrating databases to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). They are then connected through the private tunnel provided by Oracle Database Service for Azure.

This partnership takes multicloud to the next level and provides valuable services to joint Oracle and Microsoft customers. This enables organisations to make use of the best services from both providers and the latest benefits in Oracle Database technology for Azure workloads.
There is no charge for the Oracle Database Service for Microsoft Azure, the Oracle Interconnect for Microsoft Azure or data egress or ingress when moving data between the clouds. The only associated costs are for any other Azure or Oracle services consumed, such as Azure Synapse or Oracle Autonomous Database.
