SSH File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) support for Azure Blob Storage is generally available. This fully-managed, highly-scalable SFTP service enables straightforward secure and easy-to-manage file transfers. Its big use will be in the elimination of data silos and the modernisation of data transfer workloads.
In terms of migration, when combined with protocol support for NFS 3.0, Blob REST, and Azure Data Lake Storage, applications can be migrated without any change.
