Xamarin.Forms 4.6 Styling Improvements

Xamarin.Forms regular updates bring us a range of improvements.

An interesting new feature from version 3.6 was the addition of Material Design controls from Google which allows you to match the default Android experience. Xamarin.Forms 4.6 is now building on this addition with further bindings to the Google library and added styling support.

Further features brought to us in 4.6 is Shell fly-out styling. Item templates now show both style classes and element names so you can easier implement your designs throughout, be it icon, text or container.

4.6 has improved on the font embedding from the last update, to more reliably manage fonts. This includes the addition of FontImageSource support.
