Ballard Chalmers provided three resources as a team to the Virgin Atlantic Airways’ internal IT team specifically to develop a new API service layer that would support the UI requirements, creating and querying customer accounts, retrieving flight data, updating accounts, and posting new transactions. Achieving all of this while also fusing together the data coming in from a variety of other services.

The final solution was a PowerApp and microservice-based REST API.
